Purpose: To determine if aspects of a tree's structure or health indicate the need for a Level 3 Advanced assessment for a more comprehensive evaluation.

Level 3 - Advanced Assessments:

Method: Involves detailed examination of a tree's roots, stem, or crown. Techniques may include climbing inspections, root system examination using compressed-air tools, resistance drilling with a resistograph, or sonic tomography for visual representation of internal conditions.
Purpose: To conduct an in-depth analysis of tree condition and risk of failure, often following recommendations from previous assessments.
Outcome: A detailed tree risk assessment report is provided, encompassing field observations, pictures, test results, and recommendations for mitigation, maintenance, or removal.
